What are some types of massage services we offer?

  • Deep Tissue
    This helps with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitation and reduces inflammation related pain caused by arthritis and tendonitis. It is generally used with other massage techniques. The muscles must be relaxed in order to effectively perform deep tissue massage otherwise tight surface muscles prevent the practitioner from reaching deeper musculature.|
  • Sports Massage
    Designed to enhance athletic performance and recovery. There are 3 contexts in which sports massage can be useful to an athlete: pre-event, post event and injury recovery. Pre-event massage is fast paced and stimulating, it helps to establish blood flow and warm up muscles for the task ahead. Post event massage, the intent here is to calm the nervous system and begin the process of flushing toxins and waste products out of the body. When an athlete sustains an injury, skillful massage therapy can often speed and improve the quality of healing.
  • Swedish Massage
    A full body massage of slow, long flowing strokes that induce a deep state of relaxation. Relieves muscle tension, stimulates circulation and reduces stress. Warm oil is applied with soothing hand movements and relaxation techniques to work into the muscles and soft tissue to induce a deep state of calm. Perfect for relaxation, the goal of Swedish Massage is relaxing the entire body as well as helping the functions of circulation, lymphatic, muscular and nervous systems.   • Hot Stone Massage
    The most delightful of massages. Slow wavelike movements induced deep relaxation to promote sleep. The sensation reduces muscular and nervous tension. Hot stone massage is suited to people who tend to feel chilly or have cold feet! It is also suited to people who have back pain, poor circulation, osteoarthritis, insomnia, anxiety, tension, stress and depression.
  • Myofascial Release Therapy
    Effective hands on therapy which can change and improve health of the fascia. MRT can break down scar tissue, relax muscles, give relief to myofascia and restore good posture. MRT is applied directly to the body and uses slow and sometimes deep pressure to restore the proper health of the fascia
  • Reflexology
